Llama Delivery by Newton's Nook Designs

Hello everyone, I'm over on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with this fun winter card I've created using Llama Delivery stamp and die set, along with the trees and red bird from Forest Scene Builder Die Set.

I started by cutting a snowy hill using the Land Borders Die Set I glued that down on this star/dark blue patterned paper from my stash cut in an A2 size.

From there I Copic colored my images:

Llama: E55, E53, E51, E50
Scarf and blanket: B39, B37, B34
Green Packages: G29, G17, G14, Y04
Red Packages: R89, R46, R27, R17

Once colored, I die cut them using coordinating dies. I cut my trees out using a medium tone green cardstock, then using Pine Needles Distress ink to shade the trees. I also added one tiny red bird for some decoration I foam popped my llama and one of the packages to give my scene dimension. Lastly I added the sentiment with musical notes below!

Thanks for joining me today, stop by the Newton's Nook Designs store and check out these fun products I've used to create this fun winter card!

Inspired Poinsettia in Blues and Greens

Hello!  I'm so excited to be joining you today with a card I've made using the Merry Poinsettia stamp/die set! I recently purchased a 6x6 paper pad called Alpine by Authentique.  It's full of green and blue Christmas papers and I have to admit, it's influencing the cards I've made this week.  I so loved that green gingham, I decided to try a non-traditional poinsettia for something different.

I cut out my 5x5 square card base. then white heat embossed my floral images and cut them out with matching dies. I used various shades of blue distress inks to color them.  Once dried, I splattered them with white acrylic paint cut 50/50 with water.  I cut my leaves out of a apple green cardstock and used a moss colored ink to shade them, then did a water splatter on them for some interest.

I place my floral around the middle sized die in the Stitched Nested Creative Squares set, then glued it all down.  I die cut the Merry from gold cardstock, then placed it within the poinsettias. Lastly I added some Gold Foil Confetti to add a little extra shine!

Thanks SO MUCH for joining me today, I hope you've enjoyed my project and it will inspire you while making your christmas cards!
