Gina Marie Flamingo Dies + MFT

Hi everyone, it's a hot, sunny Tuesday here in NC.  I'm actually ready for some fall weather, I'm wondering how much longer until we get a cool down.  In the meantime, I've got some fans set up in my makeshift craft room to stay cool!

Today I've got 2 new dies from Gina Marie Designs to show you.  First, the Studded Dot Circle Die.  This die cuts on both sides of the cut line, and as you can see, I used the center part only this time.

Then I used her new flamingo dies and hit them with a little Abandoned Coral Distress Ink and some Wink of Stella to give them a little glimmer!

For my background, I really loved using this BOLD scallop pattern and guess what?  I created that paper with a background stamp from #MFT #ScallopBackground #TickledPink  I was so excited to finally use both of these MFT products that had been in my stash for quite a while!

I heat embossed one of these great sentiments using Judikins Opaque White EP and VersaFine ink, two of my fav embossing combinations!  Lastly I added some pink vertical striped paper, black twine and few pearls!

Thank you for stopping by, have a GREAT day!

Challenges I've joined using this project!

Gina Marie Designs Dot Studded Rectangles PLUS Power Poppy Farmers Market

Hi everyone, it's been a while!  I've been in the middle of a move which has proven to be a little tougher than first expected.  The first home we purchased fell through, so we were scrambling to find another home..in the meantime I'm staying in temporary digs and most of my crafty stuff is packed.  However, I could take it no longer, so I broke into a few boxes to get my Copics, inks and Big Shot out!  I didn't have much to decorate my cards with, but that's ok..just coloring again made my day!

And omgosh, I'm loving these new double sided dot stud dies from Gina Marie, have you seen them yet?  I'll post a pic with the link to shop below.  They are lots of fun, cut perfectly and although you need to clean up a bunch of little dots, it's worth it for this fun look!

The image of organic apples comes from the Power Poppy set - Farmers Market.  I used a few sequins and some Nuvo drops to dress this card up a bit more.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!

As for me, I'll be moving on Sept 12th and cannot wait to get my new craft room organized.  :)

JustRite Papercraft - New Release Part 3

Hello and happy Tuesday!  Today has been a rainy, soggy day here at our NC mountain house where we are currently staying.  The steam is rising up from the hills and you can barely see the mountains behind the house.  I'm going to share a few pretty pics down below for you to enjoy :)

But first!  Let me tell you about some of the products I've used to create both of these cards for JustRite's new release.  Up above, I'm featuring this really fun Chicken Wire Background Stamp which is brand new.  Other JustRite products I've used to make this cute card:

My next card features the trees, grasses and rock from the Multi-Step Landscape Elements clear stamp set and the dies are from the With Sentiments Die Set.  I've added a few acrylic dots and some sky shading behind the trees.  I think this is a nice peaceful sympathy card to use in those difficult times.

I've entered the following challenges with my card:

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  And now for our rainy mountain view.  This is the backyard, everything is so lush and green this summer as we've had a tremendous amount of rain.  Normally you can see the mountains crisp and clear, but not today.

JustRite Papercraft New Release Part 2

Hi again, here's another card I've made showing products from the latest release from JustRite Papercraft.  I'm again, showing this gorgeous Text Background stamp, only this time I haven't heat embossed it, I stamped it and then distressed the edges to look like old paper.  I love this technique combined with roughing up the edges of the paper, so vintage looking!

I've also used this gorgeous new Multi-Step Poppy Clear Stamp Set, aren't those flowers just perfect with that little glittery dragonfly buzzing around them?  I finished the card with a few sequins and gold twine!

The items I've used on this card are linked below, thanks for stopping and enjoy some shopping!  lol

Hi Everyone, I'm here today showing off a few cards that I've made for the new JustRite release!  I've linked all the JustRite products below for your shopping convenience!

So on this card, I distress inked the background in a few of my favorite colors, then used the new "Text Background" stamp with white embossing powder and heated it up.  The rest of the design uses the dies linked below along with some twine and pearls.  Just a simple and colorful design!  I hope you've enjoyed seeing it and thank you for stopping by!

Gina Marie Designs Seahorse and Starfish

Hi everyone, I've been in the middle of a move and yes, that means all my supplies are packed right now.  However, I had been way behind on my blogging, so I thought I'd use this time to catch up here and share some things I've made with you.

Today I'm showing you 2 new dies in Gina Marie Designs line.  It seems like sea life is a really popular thing right now and for great reason.  These warm sunshiney months call for designs like this, don't you think?

So here's a fun and simple card you can make.  I started by distress inking my background.  I used tumbled glass and mustard seed, but you can use any colors you like :)  I cut my seahorses out of the distressed panel and then cut a few layers of cardstock to glue to the back of them and pop them up.  In person, you can see this a bit easier than what shows here.  Oh!  And while I had the seahorses cut out, I sprinkled my distress background with water to make the big bubbles!  Then I distress inked the star fish, I just love how it pops next to the sentiment.  The sentiment is by Hero Arts, love that font! The whole card probably took me 10-15 minutes.  I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by, come again soon!
