Simple Die Cut Card - Studio Katia

Hi everyone! With a short amount of time left before the holidays, I'm looking for quick card ideas.  My son is finishing his first semester of his senior year in high school with straight A's and when I saw this Best Ever die sentiment in the brand new release, I immediately thought to make him a card and congratulate him on his achievements!

I cut the Dotted Patterns Loops die out twice, once in red, once in white and assembled/glued down my patterns.  Using the Best Ever dies in Black/White to stand out on the circles.  Last I added some magic hearts!

Thanks so much for stopping..I hope my card gives you some incentive to make some simple cards of your own with the new December Release here at Studio Katia!

Studio Katia Products I've used on my card:
Dotted Patterns - Loops Creative Dies
Best Ever Coordinating Dies
Magic Hearts Crystals

Hello everyone, today I'm up on the blog over at Newton's Nook Designs with a card I've made using Cuppa Cactus and the scalloped frame from Frames and Flags Die Set.

This was a really simple card to assemble.  I just copic colored the little images and added them atop some circles that I distress inked with water splatter.  I added a few of these little enamel hearts to finish it off!

I love the look,. it's one layer, so simple to pop in the mail to one of your fav coffee loving friends!

Last minute simple Christmas Card - Studio Katia

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a last minute, fairly simple Christmas card with you.  One of the reasons this card was so easy is that there is actually no coloring with pencils or markers..simply inking on all the die cut pieces.  The fox, tree, moon and background were all inked with Ranger Distress inks.  And the bottom layer is a snowflake patterned paper!  Before I assembled my card, I did an acrylic paint (cut 50/50 with water) splatter over all my inked pieces.  I stamped the sentiment on the moon, then glued it all together, adding a bow, twine and a pretty clear bauble.

Here's a list of products I've used to make this card:

I loved Copic coloring this sweet Santa Newton image, he's so cute going over his list with the little mice!

I found this pretty paper in a Photo Play 6x6 pack named Mad 4 Plaid, it's current and easy to find.  The gold music paper is from "Gifts of Gold" a 6x6 pad by Paper Studio.  All die cuts are by MFT.
