Spring 2016 Coffee Loving Papercrafters Hop! Blog Candy Here! - Winner Announced!!!

So by virtue of Random Name Picker..the winner of the Gina Marie Designs dies is....Jean Bullock!!  Thanks to everyone who commented, please email me Jean and I will get your dies out to you right away!

Wow, it's that time of year again, the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Hosted by Amy Tsuruta, who puts her heart and soul into making these seasonal coffee hops amazing, so thank you Amy!  There are soooo many awesome sponsors in this hop and many chances to win some terrific prizes along the way.  So check it out, I'm linking it up for you right here!

So my first card for this hop, I decided to go with this super cute image by MFT, "Pure Innocence Steeped In Love".  I'm a huge fan of MFT and this image just stood out when I was trying to select which image to color. I then Copic colored all the little Gina Marie Designs flowers and created a cluster to frame the image.  I also added various sized clear sequins by Verve.  The super sweet doily die is also a Gina Marie Designs die, I'm such a fan, it framed my circle just perfect!  All patterned paper is Doodlebug and my large stitched rectangle is Lil'Inkers Designs.

Die that I cut flowers from, click on photo to visit Gina Marie's shop! The doily is new and will be coming out very soon, so there's your sneak peek Gina Marie Designs fans!

As for a little blog candy, please leave a comment right here on my blog and I'd love it if you'd follow my blog too! One lucky winner will receive this cute Easter Egg Die Set by Gina Marie Designs!  Egg dies only, bunnies not included.

SugarPea Designs 2nd Birthday Bash Celebration

Hello everyone!  I just recently discovered the joys of a company called SugarPea Designs.  I placed my first order from their last new release and received this set, Timber

My husband's birthday is coming up and I knew that I wanted to make him a special card with this set!  And, bonus!  SugarPea is celebrating their 2nd birthday and asking their fans to link up with a special project to help celebrate!

As you can see, I did a little masking on the trees to create the little cluster behind my woodsman.  I copic colored the images and distressed the grass and sky with Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass.  My woodgrain background was created using the Stampin Up woodgrain stamp and then I tea dyed distressed the edges.  I added 1 tiny metal heart to finish it off..I didn't want to take away from my scene, so I kept it really clean.

Oh!  I also wanted to mention...I used the "Happy Birthday" from a SSS stamp and then added the "Handsome" which was part of  a sentiment that came in his set, "Hello Handsome".  I love making my own sentiments this way, when I just don't have exactly what I need.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you'll leave me a comment, I love hearing from you!

I've also entered this project in the NBUS challenge (as I've never used these stamps before!):

OSAT Blog Hop - Spring Has Sprung - March 2016

Hello OSAT Hoppers and Welcome to our Spring Has Sprung Hop!  You should have arrived here from the fabulous Tina Riddle's blog, if not, you may want  to start at the beginning so you don't miss a thing!

Down here in South Carolina, our daffodils have begun blooming and I'm seeing buds on our trees.  I'm excited for Spring and Easter!

Which leads me to the products I've decided to show you this month.  I'm a big fan of this company, Sunny Studios Stamps.  I purchased my first set about 6 months ago and absolutely love the quality and designs.  I will link below so you can check them out!

For my card, I used a set called "A Good Egg".  I did a little masking to create this fun layered paint can effect behind the eggs.  The background paper is by Doodlebug.

I found this gift bag at the dollar store and thought it matched my card so well, so I created a little gift tag to go on it.  I'll fill this bag full of goodies for someone very special to me :)  On the tag, I used "A Good Egg" again, and also added the sun from "Sunny Sentiments".  The tag shape is by MFT.

And lastly...another project that I've been working on!  For years I grew wheatgrass..my kitchen was FULL of trays of grass and we juiced it daily.  Well, life sometimes gets in the way and I stopped growing.  I'm so excited to announce that I'm back in the green.  Just look at how gorgeous this grass is, doesn't it make you want to run your fingers through it?!  Well, in just a few more days, this first tray is going in my morning smoothies.

Virginia Turtle "Too Glam" Part Deux

Well hello and happy Wednesday!  Half way through the week is something to celebrate :)

Continuing on as a Guest DT for Virginia Turtle, I'm featuring for the second time, this awesome stamp set, "Too Glam".  I chose this sentiment in particular because now I can say, I've made a card with the name Kardashian on it!  I'm neither a hater nor a fan..I'm neutral!  But I do agree with the sentiment completely. :)

I'll link the set and shop below so you can go check it out for yourself.  I love the originality of these stamps, I think you will too!

I felt this sentiment in particular paired perfectly with this die by Gina Marie Designs, link below!

Thank you for visiting and thanks for your comments, I always appreciate hearing from you :)

This set is on Pre-Order and specially priced during this time.
