A Day for Daisies Challenge - Add a Little Sparkle

I am coming in on the tail end of this challenge..but I couldn't let another ADFD challenge pass me by.  It is no secret that I'm a HUGE fan of their digital images.

So, before every last bit of my crafty supplies are packed, I thought I'd get one more project completed!  My family and I decided to purchase a new home, we are soon moving to Lexington, SC!  Each house we looked at, my number one priority was...where would my craft room go?  Well, I'm happy to report that I'm going to have an awesome space for all my right brained activities!

Now, onto the challenge!  We were to add a little sparkle to our project, which I did, but so hard to capture that on film.  Not to mention, we currently live in a space without good lighting.  So, I did my best to show the sparkle on the wings, flower and sentiment.  I don't often make square cards, but I love the look and plan to make more of them in the near future!

Lila Grey Stamps - Home Is Where the Heart Is

Hello everyone and good Tuesday to you!  Today I'm featuring a new set by Lila Grey Stamps called "Home Is Where The Heart Is".  I've got 2 projects to show you, so here we go!

First up, I used the vase and flowers to make a simple layered tag. I then added the butterfly down at the base.  I stamped the sentiment up top, then added a few enamel dots to the mix!  Tag shape and cardstock by MFT and Patterned paper by Echo Park.  All coloring today was using Copic Markers.

For my second project I used the vase and table from the same set.  I colored the table to look like cherrywood and then popped the vase up using foam tape to give the card a little dimension.  I wanted the vase to look like Chinese Porcelain, and it really looks like it, doesn't it?!  I made the frame around the sentiment using MFT Square Stitched dies, so it would appear to be a picture hanging on the wall.  The side die was cut using a Spellbinders border die and then all finished off with some Doodlebug dots and SU gold cord.

OSAT July Blog Hop - Christmas in July (anything holiday)

Hello everyone!  I'm so glad you're hopping along with us today on the OSAT July Blog Hop!  We're having fun with the Christmas in July theme here today.

I found myself humming a christmas tune while making this card, even though it was in the high 90's and sunny outside!  I'll admit, I had yet to use the Festival of Trees set that I'd ordered last year, so this was the perfect opportunity.

I just love thees bunnies hopping around on the crisp snow hills under the winter moon and a decorated tree in the forefront just made me happy.  The window piece I took out of the card front, I stamped again with the tree and made a matching tag.  I love it when there's no waste.  This set will make a nice accompaniment to a special gift this holiday season.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll leave a comment as I love to hear from you!  Please continue on  to Megan's blog by clicking the NEXT button below!  Have a great day :)

I found this really neat idea on Pinterest on how to make the trees smaller, so it was perfect to create my outdoor scene!

Lila Grey Stamps - Afternoon Coffee or Tea? 2nd project

So here is my 2nd project using that same set by Lila Grey Stamps Lila Grey Stamps.

I just adore that little tea bag with the heart string and coloring in the boxed letters was so much fun.  I've popped the tea bag and hearts up to give it a little dimension and distressed the pierced mat with a little tea dyed ink.

I hope you've enjoyed both of my Lila Grey projects today and will pop over to their website using the link I've posted above.  Thank you for stopping by, I welcome your comments!

I've also entered the following challenge with my card:
