Gina Marie Designs Stitched Squares and Leaf Dies

Hi everyone, showing off a few more of Gina Marie's gorgeous dies today and combining them with this stamp by Stampin Up from the set Happy Scenes.

I used 3 of the dies from the Stitched Square Set.  There are 8 different sized squares in this set, for only $10, what a great deal!!  I made my frame by running two of the dies together held in place by washi tape, through my Big Shot.  Then I cut one extra, larger square using the orange patterned paper and used that as a base.  I liked a little extra matting, so I added brown and trimmed along a fine edge.  I love layers, don't you?!

Then I cut a few of the Oak Leaves Dies out, are you kidding me, these cut so perfectly and have those gorgeous embossed lines in them!  I'm in love, a must have set of two different sizes, for only $5!

I copic colored my little happy scene with copics, it took me just a couple of minutes.  Then I sponged on some Weathered Wood distress ink and put a little stickle glitter on the punkins!  I tied off a little bunch of oak leaves with gold cording and put it all together.

I thank you for stopping by today..head on over to Gina Marie's shop for some amazing deals on these gorgeous dies and much more!  http://wholesalecraftingsupplies.com/t/-gina-marie-designs-

Hi everyone, I'm back today with another card featuring Gina Marie Designs dies!

This is a really simple layout that went together easily but came out looking so nice.  I made the window frame using 2 hexagon dies together and rolled them through my Big Shot.  Then I sponged some distress inks to make the night sky on the inside panel.  I highlighted the trees with a little white ink to make them look moonlit.  Added some stars with my white Uni-ball pen.  Sentiment by Tim Holtz on birch paper and a few doo dads and that's it!

So I have an extra Gina Marie Designs Pine Tree die that I would love to giveaway to one lucky follower today!  To be entered, all you have to do is leave a comment and be a follower of my blog!  That's it!

OSAT Blog Hop - Thank You

Hello everyone, welcome to the OSAT Blog Hop - Thank You themed.  You should have arrived here from the very talented Martie's blog, if not, use the list below to go back so you don't miss a thing!

Today, I'm going to show you how you can use 1 set of stamps and 1 die to make 2 very opposite Thank You cards.  I just love this Mama Elephant "Christmas Scene" set, Mama Elephant Christmas Scene.  So often, we put away our christmas stamps once the holidays are over.  However, look closer!  I was able to take the little houses and trees and make this gorgeous summer card!

#mamaelephant

As for this amazing background die!  Gina at Gina Marie Designs has given me permission to give you an early peek at this BRAND NEW stitched quilt die that will be in her shop in just a few weeks.  I can assure you that it cuts so smoothly. like butter, you will love it!  Gina is taking pre-orders now, here's the link to check out the amazing price and order!

So...I've taken those same stamps and die, and made this really cute winter Thank You card.  Notice, rather than coloring the houses and trees as I did on my other card, I stamped them off on the same paper I used on the quilt and handcut them out.  I think it's a nice and different look!

Holiday Cheer!

Hello, it's been a while since I crafted just for fun.  I've been in a few swaps and so all my crafting time has been devoted to that, which of course is lots of fun too.  I made this card yesterday and rushed to photograph it.  I see it's a bit blurry, ooops!  I have a house full of company arriving this week, so I guess I'm not feeling very focused either, my entire house needs a good cleaning, help!

I have been wanting to play around with this awesome snowflake cover-up die by Lil'Inkers for some time.  You'll need to pay around with the right shim, I used a thick piece of paper in addition to the regular layers and that seemed to work great in my Big Shot.  This die takes patience, as there are zillions of tiny pieces to poke out.  But well worth it if you ask me!

I used MFT bubblegum cardstock and SU Strawberry Slush ink to stamp that most amazing woodgrain background.  That SU woodgrain stamp is by far my fav!  I fussy cut a house from this set and copic colored it and added some glittery snow!  Lastly, I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins, which is sort of hard to see in this picture.  In person they are lovely and add just the right amount of sparkle!

If you are in the U.S, have a lovely Thanksgiving, enjoying time with friends and family.  Thanks for stopping in today, I hope you enjoyed my project!

OSAT Blog Hop - Holidays

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.  You should have arrived here from the very talented Diane Squires page, if not, please use the links below to start at the beginning so you don't miss a thing!

This month I'm featuring one of my favorite Unity Stamp Co.'s images called, "Lil' Nick".  Omgosh, he is just precious.  I used the no-line method while Copic coloring, this was my first attempt.  I really love the look!  The stitched circle that I stamped this image on is from a company called, Gina Marie Designs, here's the link to the stitched circles Wholesale Crafting Supplies - Gina Marie Designs  The reason I'm talking about these dies is, number one, they cut fantastic!  So many crafters love stitched dies and there are many great brands out there that I use and love.  But these in particular cut so smoothly and are very affordable.  Check them out if you are in the market for stitched dies of any shape, Gina's got a store full of good stuff!

Up next is my second project...a carry over from last month's rosette pumpkin...I'm still going rosette crazy over here, so ta-dah!  It's a tree!  Ok, I'm not recommending that you do this like I did.  I would suggest you read some instructions first.  It will save you a bunch of headaches.  Even my dog has glitter stuck in her fur, I'm closing the door to my studio now and will work on cleanup another day.  So visit Pinterest and choose the method you like best, you will thank me later when your rosette tree looks pretty, is not lopsided AND, no hot glue mishaps.  All said, this came out pretty good and I'll display it proudly this Christmas. :)

Click the NEXT button below to move on!!!  I'm so glad you stopped by, please leave a comment and let me know what you think!
