Last minute simple Christmas Card - Studio Katia

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a last minute, fairly simple Christmas card with you.  One of the reasons this card was so easy is that there is actually no coloring with pencils or markers..simply inking on all the die cut pieces.  The fox, tree, moon and background were all inked with Ranger Distress inks.  And the bottom layer is a snowflake patterned paper!  Before I assembled my card, I did an acrylic paint (cut 50/50 with water) splatter over all my inked pieces.  I stamped the sentiment on the moon, then glued it all together, adding a bow, twine and a pretty clear bauble.

Here's a list of products I've used to make this card:

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Studio Katia

Hello everyone, I'm so excited to be taking part in the 25 Days of Christmas Tag Hop!  Today Studio Katia is guesting!  You can find information on how to participate here!

I decided to make shaker tags using SK Iridescent Clear Crystals as my filler. I started by cutting 6 of the Studio Katia Dotted Shaker Tag 1 Using Ranger Oxide inks in blue, green and red shades, I inked up all 6 pieces.  I then cut the window out using the same die set and glued in my acetate sheet and added foam tape to make my window complete.

I added the crystals and sealed the shaker. I colored the package from Origami Winter stamp set in 3 colors to match the tags, fussy cut them and glued them on the front of the tag. I stamped my sentiment using the Origami Winter set as well.  Lastly I added some eyelash yarn to match.

I think these are very simple but pretty and will really dress up your packages!  Thanks so much for stopping!

Frosty Gingerbread Shaker Card - Studio Katia

Hello Studio Katia fans!  Today I’m sharing a shaker card I made using the Sweet Holiday stamp and die set.  I couldn’t wait to play with this set, I just love everything gingerbread at this time of year!  It’s tradition in my family to roll and cut out gingerbread and decorate cookies on Christmas eve.  We also exchange gifts with family on that night, so I can see some gift tags being made with this set in my very near future!

I started by Copic coloring all the images from Sweet Holiday and then using the matching dies to cut them out.  I cut my panel from this ombre patterned paper in an A2 size and heat embossed the sentiment in white.  The sentiment is from the Origami Winter stamp set. I created my shaker frame using the Stitched Creative Window Die. I added my filler using the Winter Wonderland Fusion Sequin mix

Once carefully filled with the amount of sequins I desired, I placed my shaker window down and glued my images on top! Thank you so much for visiting with me today.  I hope you’ve enjoyed my project and will make a shaker card or two this holiday season!
