Close To My Heart - One In A Melon

Hi everyone, it's Wednesday and I'm celebrating this gorgeous weather we're having here in South Carolina with a pretty floral card.

I'd mentioned in the blog title that this set is a mystery!  Just last week, I visited my local scrapbook store, #ScrapbookCreations in Spartanbug, SC.  They were hosting their annual used stamp sale, where many crafters brought their used items to be sold.

There were many older sets that had no labels.  Such as this wood mount set by Stampin Up.  There was no name on the packaging.  But I adore the flowers and there's also some watermelon images too.  One large slice and then some tiny ones along with a few other florals.

I was goofing around stamping with my friend Jade the other day and just created this card for fun.  In addition to the mystery set, I also stamped the sentiment from another mystery set that Jade passed along to me.

I watercolored the images using Tombow markers on Bristol Smooth cardstock.  I had these little bee brads, so I added one to give it a little extra and I think it works perfectly!

Thanks for visiting..if you happen to know the name of this SU set, I would love to know!  Thanks for visiting, enjoy the rest of your week!
