MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #245/Color Challenge #29

Hello everyone, I've got one more card today for you.  I haven't participated in anything MFT in a while and I'm just such a big fan of their products.  Here's my entry for this week's Sketch and Color Challenges Click to Play Here!   And Here Too!

I've had the set, "You Gnome Me" for a while now and finally broke it out to play today!  In following the sketch I used some of my fav Die-Namics stitched dies, the rounded squares!  My patterned paper is from Doodlebug and the clouds are by Memory Box.  The sky was shaded using Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean by Ranger Distress Inks. My card base is MFT SnoCone.

This will probably be my last summer card for the year, with fall fast approaching!  Hope you've enjoyed seeing my gnome card, I'm just loving this little guy and plan to color him up again soon!

  7. Such a cute card! I don't use MFT stamps (I'm pretty much purely digital anymore), but I have a bunch of their dies. They are excellent!

  9. AJ, this is a cute, and love the bold frame with this fun paper. The garden gnome is adorable, as are the delightful embellies that make this one so special. We're close to Greenville, so if you're anywhere near, perhaps we could lunch one day. TFS & happy wkend.

  13. AJ, the Misti Class was at SBC. I don't scrapbook but I'm debating on going to the IO trunk show. The reason I might give it a miss, is cause I spent so much from IO at Stampaway. I live about 45 minutes south of SBC, and other than the Mercantile at Pendleton, that is about the only LSS we have round this area, any longer. You sound like you're close enough to where I live we could have a lunch. If you want to send me your email info, I have comment moderation set to on, so no one else would see your personal info. If you mention my name to the regulars at SBC, they know me!!! LOL. We've having fabulous weather here in the Upstate this Sunday. Hugs

  14. This card is so charming! I really love how you created the frame with such happy whimsical paper. It gives that feeling of sky and kite-flying without being totally overwhelming. It balances the gnome perfectly and I love how you layered the clouds inside the frame and stretching outside of the frame. This card turned out so well and it made me smile. An expert job, to be sure, and I'm so glad you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
