Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 4

Hello everyone, welcome to day 4, the final day of Newton's Nook Designs Holiday release.  You know what that means?  All these fun new products will be in store tomorrow for purchase right here: Shop Here!

So I've got quite a few cards to show you today, I had extra time and wanted to give you examples for all the new sets we're featuring today!  On this first card I'm showing you the new Happy Howl-idays! I love both of these pups, super fun to color and they look cute against the background that I've inked and used the new Forest Scene Builder Dies! I also used the new Petite Snow Stencil to add snow to the sky.

My second card features Mistle Toad, omgoodness that is the cutest little toad! I used a scalloped die from the Framework Die set, then popped the little Mistle Toad up on the Cameo Frame Die that I cut out in gold. The little ticket die cut that I heat embossed the sentiment in gold is also from the Framework Die Set.

My third card features Slothy Christmas.  As soon as I saw this image, I thought, boy can I relate!  That's usually how I feel after Christmas, I need a nap! I used the little HOHOHO dies from the new Ornamental Wishes Shaker Dies. The scallop die is from the Frames and Flags die set. I just surrounded Mr. Sloth with a bunch of packages, like he just got done wrapping at 3:00 am, once the kiddos are tucked in bed!

My fourth and last card features one of the new smaller stamp/die sets, Fleece Navidad. These little sheep were so easy to color, so I created a little flock, mounted them to a banner from Frames and Flags Die Set.  I inked the background, stamped some snowflakes from the set and added a little bit of crystal stickles on the snowflakes.  This was a fun and easy card to create!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 3

Hi everyone and welcome to day 3 of the Holiday reveals over at Newton's Nook Designs! Today I'm showing you 2 new stamp/die sets, the first one is Holiday Stockings! This new stamp set coordinates with the stocking dies from Stylish Stockings (last years release).

I've also used a die set that's currently in the shop, Pines & Holly Die Set.  This die set with the pine, holly, berries and pine cones is a perfect compliment on any holiday card or layout!  So I colored a few of the stockings from Holiday Stockings.  Using a fine black marker, I drew a string and popped up the tops of the stockings with foam tape to make them dimensional.  I added that gorgeous spray to the top of the card and my base was cut from the postage die in Framework Die Set.

For my second card, I cut the scalloped base from the Frames and Flags Die set.  Then I found some patterned paper in my stash that I liked.  I cut 3 ornaments out using the dies that go along with the Ornamental Wishes stamp set.  Although I didn't make a shaker today, you can see on other team member's blogs, what these ornaments look like both as shakers or just regular ornaments.  I LOVE the shape and there are also 2 different toppers and some little bits to cut out for shaker filling!  I decided to heat emboss in gold, one of the sentiments on the front of my ornament which turned out lovely I think!

Would you like to win the “Holiday Stockings Stamp Set or Ornamental Wishes ”  Stamp Set?

We will chose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 2

Hello, welcome to day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday reveals!  Today we're showing off some super cute new stamp sets, The Nutcracker Squeak and Caroling Newton!  Make sure to keep scrolling for your chance to win one of these sets!

For this first card, I used the stamp/die set The Nutcracker Squeak to create this super cute little scene! I started with a dark purple piece of cardstock and stenciled it with the new Petite Snow Stencil. I used a tree from the Forest Scene Builder Die set and die cut the turquoise floor using the scallop die from Sky Borders . I then added in my images and white heat embossed the sentiment.

For my second card, I used the new Music Stencil to create my background.  I copic colored and die cut the Caroling Newton trio. I added onto a double stitch oval die cut, stamped a few musical notes above the critters and perched that tiny singing mouse on the kitty's head!  I cut a little banner from the Frames and Flags die set to add above and finish my card.

Would you like to win “The Nutcracker Squeak” or the “Caroling Newton” Stamp Set? We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!

WPlus9 Autumn Blessings at Butterfly Reflections Ink.

Hi everyone, happy Monday!  I'm here with another fall project to share with you.  Today I'm featuring this new stamp set by WPlus9 called Autumn Blessings over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog!

I love all things sunflowers and this wreath is absolutely stunning. I love that the set offers extra floral, leaves and banner too.  I should mention this set is also available with matching dies!

I stamped my images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink by MFT, then I copic colored everything. I adore that gorgeous banner, so I took the sentiment stamp and curved it on the lid of my MISTI Stamping Tool, then stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I love the crisp dark look I get with this ink, but I only stamp with it over the top of my colored images. This ink will smear if used before alcohol ink. I die cut using a rectangle die and then mounted on some cranberry colored paper to match the berries in the wreath.

I finished off my card by dressing it up with some gold sequins.  Thanks for stopping by, I hope you've enjoyed my fall project and will feel inspired to create something lovely today!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 1

Hello Newton fans, welcome to day 1 of the October Holiday reveals!  Today we're showing off some amazing new product that will be available in store this coming Friday, October 19th!  So remember to hop along with us each day, Monday-Thursday and leave your comments on all the DT's blogs for your chance to win!

For my first card, I've used this beautiful stamp/die set, Winter Memories.  I love silhouette stamps, they're so beautiful when it comes to creating scenes. I created a hill using the Land Borders Die set. I stamped out my images with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  I created my background by diecutting a circle for my moon and inked blue all around it.  Then I took the brand new Evergreen stencil and used a darker blue to ink them onto my panel. I did glitter up the hill, it was just hard to show in the photo. I love the way this card turned out and it was very easy!

Next up, I'm showing off these two new die sets.  Forest Scene Builder and Holiday Greetings Dies. You can see them listed below, these are two of my favorite new die sets, omgoodness those tall pines are just stunning and birch trees are my favorite. I'm also so excited about the new word dies. I think they paired well on this wintery moonlit card!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog - Guest Spot!

Hello Coffee Lovers, I'm so excited to be Guesting over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today!

When I first saw this stamp set in the Butterfly Reflections Ink. store, I had to have it!  I think this stamp and die set, Pumpkin Cup by Impression Obsession, is absolutely darling!  One of my new faves for fall!

I started by Copic coloring, then die cutting all the images. I adhered a fall patterned paper by Bo Bunny that I had in my stash to an A2 sized card base. Then I cut out a scalloped rectangle in a copper color using Scallop Die by Neat & Tangled. and a creme colored rectangle for under the images. I assembled my pumpkin cup and all the little extras like the candy corn, cinnamon sticks and whipped cream on top!

Lastly I added some Studio Katia Gold Foiled Confetti and May Arts Natural Burlap String to finish off my card! Thank you for stopping by, I hope you've enjoyed my project as much as I've enjoyed creating and sharing it with you!

Lawn Fawn Apple Thanks with Butterfly Reflections Ink.

Hi everyone, I'm here with a project I made using Lawn Fawn products from the Butterfly Reflections Ink online store!  I was super excited to see these new apple dies and couldn't wait to play around with them! I started by die cutting the Lawn Fawn Outside Stitched Apple Stackables Dies along with the frame (red part) Stitched Apple Frame dies. I cut out the stem, leaf and seeds and glued it all together.  I added some Glossy Accents to the seeds to make them look real.

I used white embossing powder by Hero Arts for the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Sweet Smiles and the Scripty Thanks die is by LF as well! The patterned paper is from the new Knit Picky 6x6 pad by Lawn Fawn

I added a little button to the banner for a little extra decoration!  Thanks for joining me here today, I hope you've enjoyed my Apple Thanks card!
