Haven't gotten crafty at all today, it's all work and no fun.  However, it dawned on me that I need to have a pic on here of my pups.  The black lab in the front, she's my alpha dog, that's Daphne.  And the little girl photobombing in the back, a mixture of who knows what..well that's my little Dahlila.  Both these girls are rotten and they know it.  But I love them anyway.  They are my companions, laying at my feet while I work or craft.  Happy Thursday...it's almost Friday, yay!!!

Lawn Fawn ~ Critters in the Burbs

I just couldn't resist posting one more today.  I made this card using the always charming Lawn Fawn stamp and die sets.  This one is called, "Critters in the Burbs".  I cut the grass out using their Hillside Border die and then stamped some little tufts from the same stamp set on it.  So much fun to color these critters, I've got many of the LF sets on my wishlist!

Stampin Up - Countryside Set - PickUp Truck

Happy Wednesday, to get over this hump day, I did a little coloring on my all time favorite Stampin Up image, the truck from the Countryside set.  I don't personally own this set, even though I've been on what seems the never-ending quest to find it!  My cousin happens to own it, so last time I visited her way up in Wisconsin, I stamped out a whole bunch of them on copic friendly paper.

So after I colored the image, I mounted it on some vintage-y tiny floral paper, tearing the edges and then hitting it all around with some vintage photo distress ink, as well as on the image itself.  It needed some extra pop, so I added turquoise paper as a mat on the dark woodgrain cardstock.  The sentiment is from an old PTI set I had.  Finished it off with some Prima pearls and a tiny bow made from this new paper twine I found at Michaels the other day.  Don't be afraid to use this stuff, it ties amazingly and easy to form a pretty bow!

This is officially my first blog entry, I hope you will follow my page and comment!  Thank you and have an awesome day!
