Sentimental Sundays Challenge #249 Lace and Pearls

Hello Everyone and Happy Sunday!  This weeks challenge over at Sentimental Sundays is being sponsored by The East Wind.

For this challenge I've colored up an image named "Flower Fairy and Birdie".  The challenge was also to add lace and pearls.  After going through my huge bag of ribbons, I realized I didn't have the right lace!  Isn't that the way?  It's like going through your packed closet and saying you have nothing to wear!

So I ended up making my own using a Martha Stewart punch.  Finished off with some Bo Bunny pearls and a stamped sentiment by Lil'Inkers.

Thanks for joining me this week, I hope you'll join me over at Sentimental Sundays and play along!

  1. Pretty image and colours AJ, I have the same problem with my stash too - lots of it but sometimes just not the right one to fit the job - fab punched lace though.

  3. Now see, I'm a big fan of combining purple and green!!!! Others disagree with that combo, but see what they are missing out on?! This is a wonderful card! I think the paper punched lace was a better option than fabric lace anyway. But yes, why is it for all the stash we have we lack the one thing we need!!!?!??!

  5. Stunning card AJ! Like PJ, I like purple and green together, so does nature if you look at the flowers.....grin

I prefer paper lace as apposed to real lace. It lays better and mails better....just MHO.
