Newton's Nook Designs Pet Sympathy Card

Hi everyone, today I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog with a card that I made for a friend. It's never easy to make sympathy cards, regardless of who they are for. And although I was sad to have to make this card, it's important we support friends and family when it comes to the loss of our fur babies.

I started with a mint A2 sized card base and stenciled on pawprints all over. Using the rounded rectangle die cut from Frames and Flags, I stamped the red pawprint heart and the halo. I stamped and die cut this sweet pup silhouette and popped him up on the sentiment stamped banner.

Last I added some twine and a tiny pawprint die cut. Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you've enjoyed your week and are looking forward to a nice weekend.

Newton's Nook Designs July Release 6 Year Celebration - Day 2

Hello Newton's Nook Designs fans and welcome to day 2 of the July reveals and NND's 6th birthday celebration!

For my first card, I've used the brand new set, Newton's Perfect Wave! I adore this set and love all the images included! My scalloped frame is a die from the Frameworks Die set and the clouds and sand hill were stenciled in using the new Clouds Edge and Hills and Grass Edge stencils. I can't stress enough how much I LOVE these new scene creating stencils, they are amazing!

For my second card I'm featuring the new Scuba Newton stamp/die set and added the new stencil Waves and Splashes. The scalloped die is from the Frames and Flags die set. All the little fish and plants come in the Scuba Newton Set! The little sentiment is stamped on the littlest circle die from Frames Squared!

Newton's Nook Designs May Release - Day 3

Hi all, well we're 3 days into the Newton's Nook Design's May reveals and today we've got the cutest set, Newton Cleans Up! I've created 2 cards for today, these images are so much fun to color, I can't wait to use this set again!

So for my first card I did some ombre inking and added a little bit of water splatter. I cut out a banner from Frames and Flags Die Set, then Copic Colored my image and popped it on top of the banner using foam tape. I stamped my sentiment, which is so much fun! Yes, let's skip those dishes! And then finished off with some pretty enamel dots!

For my second card, I used this super cute laundry basket image. Don't you just love Newton snuggling in the clean warm blankets? I also used a banner from Frames and Flags Die set to stamp my image, then I also stenciled the Tumbling Hearts Stencil using green ink for a tone on tone look with a two tone purple frame!
