Hi everyone, happy weekend! I was really looking forward to this weeks challenge because who doesn't love this gorgeous color combination?
I made a fairly simple card with this gorgeous Gina Marie Designs Die called "Flower Background Die" linked here - Flower Background Die
I ran the die through my BigShot on some plain white cardstock. Then I distressed all the petals with 2 colors of distress ink, (Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean). Once dry, I glued them in and added a few white dots with my UniBall gel pen. I then mounted the panel on Sunshine cardstock by MFT. Finishing off this card with a nice sentiment from a new WPlus9 stamp set called, "That Is All"
So that's it! I hope you'll join in this week in our color challenge! Thanks for stopping by, I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment :)

Hi Glennis, I do apologize for being so late on that drawing..it slipped my mind until someone on FB asked about it. I have posted the winner there a few days ago. I'm going to have another drawing soon..and I will put the draw date in my planner so I don't forget! Thanks for playing along!
DeleteI love this idea! you did a really good job fading the colors down to the mustard seed. It turned out so elegant! Hugz

ReplyDeleteThis is way cool! Scrumptious colors! Wasn't coloring in all those bits somewhat tedious? Seems like it could be.
